This volume is a collection of extracts from Apocalypse Explained and is arranged in five chapters on different but related subjects: The Athanasian Creed, God, Divine Providence, Creation, and Omnipotence and Omniscience. In the section on Creation, Swedenborg discusses the spiritual existence of animals and plants, and this has been published separately in a different translation as Life in Animals & Plants.
