These two volumes bring together all of Swedenborg’s extant letters and the memorials he wrote on various subjects in his capacity as a member of the Swedish House of Nobles, along with some of the correspondence he received, tied together with extensive commentary by Alfred Acton. Letters and Memorials is a key biographical reference tool. This edition includes a list of Authorities Cited and an Index.

This work is printed in two volumes. Volume one covers 1709-48; volume two 1748-72.
