Join Assistant Curator Anya Reeve for a guided tour of the Swedenborg House Gallery and its new exhibition, Swedenborg’s Lusthus: On Memory and Place, where you can find out about the participating artists and how they came to be involved in the exhibition, and the stories behind the artworks and archival items, which bear testament to the extraordinary resonance of an eighteenth-century summerhouse.

Built as a wooden retreat at the far end of his garden in Stockholm in 1747 and serving as a focal point for his writing and otherworldly conversations, Swedenborg’s lusthus has come to stand as an emblematic presence of his visionary legacy for over 250 years.

The tour is free, but space is limited. Please book by the button above or RSVP by emailing info@swedenborg.org.uk
