HEREAFTER (BOOK LAUNCH)

Please join us for the launch of the latest publication within the Swedenborg Archive Series: Hereafter, edited by Simon Moretti. Produced to accompany Moretti’s acclaimed exhibition at Swedenborg House, Hereafter (★★★★★ in Artforum), this elegant hardback book with blue boards contains newly commissioned works from award-winning writers Chloe Aridjis, Andrew Durbin, Jennifer Higgie and Deborah Levy, as well as selections of poetry and prose by Charles Baudelaire, William Blake, Ithell Colquhoun, John Donne, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Derek Jarman, Stéphane Mallarmé, Edgar Allan Poe, Rainer Maria Rilke, Wallace Stevens and Tristan Tzara.

The launch night will be an opportunity to purchase a limited edition (200) copy of the book, individually numbered, with an exclusive artwork postcard signed by Simon Moretti.

Speakers on the evening will include Chloe Aridjis, Andrew Durbin and Jennifer Higgie.

The Swedenborg House Bookshop and Gallery will remain open from 5.00 p.m. onwards (drinks available from our bar) with the evening’s programme of speakers to start at 7.00 p.m.
