Apocalypse Explained (6 vols)

by Emanuel Swedenborg

Synopsis

Written circa 1757-59, the Apocalypse Explained, along with the Arcana Caelestia, is Swedenborg's most comprehensive and detailed biblical exegesis. Every verse in the Book of Revelation is discussed up to chapter 19:10. At the end there is also given two seperate treatises on The Divine Love and The Divine Wisdom (also published seperately). The book is a major contribution to Swedenborg's understanding of the Bible. This work was published posthumously.
